In the accident, 28-year-old Hitesh Ravjibhai Makwana of Pedhala village was going to Wadi on a motorcycle. The driver of the tanker number GJ12-BV-9489 coming from Dhoraji side took him by surprise while crossing the highway on the highway from the village. Hitesh tanker coming under the tanker driver braked and fell about 50 feet. After which the driver stopped the tanker and it got down and fled.
After which the deceased youth was taken to the government hospital. Where the doctor on duty pronounced him dead. CCTV footage of the whole incident has also surfaced. Parasotambhai, younger brother of the deceased, had lodged a complaint against the tanker driver. After which the local police has registered a crime and conducted further investigation.
